What Easter Means to Me
On Good Friday we go to church and when church is over we go home and read the bible. On Easter we go to my grandparents house and say prayers and sing Easter songs. Jesus was nailed on the cross on Easter. Joseph took Jesus off the cross on Easter morning. On Easter we go and find our treats and eat them. Sometimes we get a huge Easter chocolate egg that has a big toy inside. Sometimes my cousins come to my house and sometimes we go to their house. On Easter we go to places like Calgary Zoo. Sometimes my cousins and I find the Easter eggs that the parents hide. We play hide and go seek, tag, and other games on Easter. On Easter we go to a park in Bow Island. At Easter we go to Church and talk about Jesus how he was nailed on the cross. Sometimes we go to Two Hills to my cosuins and sleepover for two nights. In Church we sing for Jesus when he was on the cross.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Easter Means to Me
On Easter morning my mom and dad go to church. Once they are back from church we eat lunch and after lunch my dad goes outside and hides our chocolate bunnies. Easter means to me that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Later a man called Joseph comes and helps Jesus off of the cross. On Easter Monday we go to my grandparents place and usually they hide a bag of candy or chocolate for the kids. Sometimes we stay home and my brothers and sisters that are married come over. We also always have a special meal on the last holiday. I also have to say all the prayers that I learned at school to my grandparents.
HAPPY EASTER!

What Easter Means to Me
Easter was when Jesus was nailed to the cross with a spiked hat around his head. Jesus was taken off and put in a cave with a big round rock blocking the entrance. Three days later the rock moved out of the way and Jesus was alive. Then an angel came and told everyone in the village that Jesus was alive and well. Everyone came to see. When everyone got there Jesus rose to heaven.
On the day before Easter we go to my grandparent’s house and sleepover. When we go to sleep my parents hide the eggs. When we wake up we go and find the eggs. When we find all the eggs we eat breakfast and in a couple of hours we eat lunch. At supper we usually eat mashed potatoes, corn, and hash brown casserole. We have dessert which is usually cheesecake. We go to bed and in the morning we go home.
Happy Easter Everyone!!!!!!!!!:)

What Easter Means to Me!
Jesus died on the cross for all for all our sins on Good Friday. Then Joseph took Jesus off of the cross and laid him in a bed. He put the bed in a grave which he closed with a big rock. Three days after he was crucified he rose from the dead on Easter morning. When Mary went to look at Jesus he was gone! An angel came to Mary and said,” Jesus has risen from the dead and is alive!” That’s what Easter means to me!!! On Easter morning my mom comes to wake us up. She goes upstairs and waits until my dad is ready. When he is ready my mom tells us to come upstairs to find our treats. Sometimes my parents just put our gifts on the couch. After that we go get ready for church. At church my sister and I sit beside my mom. We sing Easter songs and say prayers. After church we go home and my cousins come over for lunch. The dads go outside and hide our treats and we go outside to find them. Once we are done it is almost supper. After supper we play downstairs or outside. Then my cousins go home and we clean up the mess.
HAPPY EASTER!

What Easter Means to Me
On April 3rd which is on Good Friday, Jesus was nailed on the cross. A man named Joseph took him off the cross and brought him into a grave. On Easter morning, Jesus came back to life and he rose from his grave. That’s what Easter means to me.
We celebrate Easter when our relatives come to our house or we come to their house. We always have to sing our songs to our cousins that we sing in German class at school. When we are done, the dads hide our Easter eggs outside and the moms stay inside to watch if we are peeking. When we are done finding the Easter eggs, our parents unwrap a big item that is wrapped in newspaper and they have to unwrap it till it is totally gone. We always go outside and play games. We always have to watch the little kids so they won’t get lost. Our parents always tell us when to come inside for dinner. We always have meat and mashed potatoes. It is so delicious! We also have red cherry juice and orange juice. It tastes delicious. Easter is very fun to celebrate!

What Easter Means To Me
Easter means to me when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He was nailed on the cross because people didn’t believe that Jesus was God’s son. He was cut open on the sides to make sure he was dead, with the spiky crown on his head. It was only two hours after lunch. It was dark outside, there was thunder and lightning, perhaps even an earthquake all because Jesus was nailed to the cross. People began to think that Jesus was God’s son, but now it was too late for apologies. Jesus died on Good Friday and was put inside a cave that no one had been in before. One day Maria went to the cave to look at her son again but when Maria got to the cave she saw the stone had been moved to the side and there was an angel on it. The angel said to Maria , “Jesus has come back to life.” Maria went back to her house, but on her way back she saw a man right in front of her. She said that Jesus was not in the cave anymore. Before she could speak, the man asked, “Maria do you know who you are speaking to?” Then she noticed that she was talking to Jesus. Maria went to tell everyone that Jesus rose from the dead. That is what Easter means to me. On Easter morning we go to church and our cousins come to our house for dinner. The mothers cook dinner and when they are finished our mothers try to distract us by playing games so we don’t look where our fathers hide the treats. Our fathers hide the treats before dinner. First we eat dinner and then we can look for our treats. It’s a great deal of fun!
Happy Easter!

Good Friday is when Jesus was nailed on the cross. Jesus was nailed on the cross to forgive our sins. After Jesus died on the cross Joseph put Jesus into a After three days Mary went to the grave to see if Jesus was still there grave but Jesus was not there. Then Mary saw an angel siting on the big rock. The angel told Mary that Jesus rose from the grave and is alive. That’s what Easter means to me. On Easter morning we try to find our Easter baskets and eat chocolate. After finding our baskets and eating some of the chocolate we go to church or get ready to go to our cousins or our grandparents. It is really embarrassing saying prayers in front of my grandparents. After we are done our prayers we get a dollar from our grandparents and get treats from my cousins parents whoever said a prayer.
