What Easter Means to Me

funny-easter-bunnyEaster means  to me that Jesus died on the cross and forgave our sins.   On the night before Jesus died on the cross  he called up to his father in heaven and asked him to forgive our sins.  On Good Friday we go to church and sing our Easter songs.  The parents sit in front of the stage and listen to us sing.   After we sing our songs we get our treats and go home.  We have a peaceful afternoon.  On Easter morning we find our Easter baskets full of chocolate and candy.   We get ready to go to our cousins  or they come to our house.  The moms make lunch.   They make corn, rice, chicken, potatoes and soup.  The moms do the dishes and we all sit in the living room.  The dads go outside and hide the basket.  Then my sister, my brothers, my cousins and I go find our treats altogether.  The moms and dads sit in the living room and talk.   We all play upstairs.  We go out side for a little while and the moms make dinner.   We usually have granola  rolls ,  chocolate cookies , and  apple pie.  After we finish dinner we go home. Have a Happy Easter!

Nice work, Sara! You understand the importance of Easter, which is Jesus dying for our sins and then rising from the dead. It is nice that you sing songs at church for your parents. It sounds like you have a wonderful time celebrating Easter with your family. Have a Happy Easter! 🙂
