The Wizard of Oz was awesome. Its about a girl named Dorothy who goes to visit a wizard. It was at the Medecine Hat Esplanade. She had a dog named Toto. A witch tries to kill Dorothy and her dog. 🙁
On the way Dorothy meets three friends. She meet a Lion, a Scraecrow and a Tinman.
Tinman had no heart.
Lion had no courage.
Scarecrow had no brain.
I enjoyed when Dorothy killed the witch. 🙂
I was scared when the witch came out and there was sounds of lightning.
I loved the singing a great deal.
My favourite actor was the lion because the lion is funny.
I’m glad you enjoyed the play. I thought the Eagle Butte students did a fantastic job performing the play! You are correct, the sound effects were excellent. The lightning and thunder sounded real! I thought the actress that played Dorothy had a beautiful voice. Thanks for sharing what you enjoyed about the play. Keep working on adding more detail to your writing. For example, you could have discussed why the lion was funny! Keep working hard! 🙂
I am glad you enjoyed the play Isaac. The Wizard of Oz is one of my daughter’s favorite movies. We have watched many times. I sure would have liked to see the play.

I really like that you included what scared you. Lots of people don’t include those details and it showed me that what you saw affected how you felt. Next time, see if you can add enough detail to your sentence to tell me how she scared you!

I think the lion was funny too.
