Out pops Mr. Groundhog.
Will there be six more weeks of snow?
Or will there be an early spring?
He only weighs 10 pounds.
Groundhogs are small furry animals.
Groundhogs are also called Woodchucks.
Sometimes the groundhog is right and sometimes wrong.
If it is sunny there will be a shadow.
If it is cloudy there will not be a shadow.
Groundhogs live in huge burrows.
Nice work, Nancy. Your poem included informative facts about groundhogs that readers may not know such as their weight and other names for groundhogs. Something to keep in mind next time is to have your poem flow more. Keep working hard! 🙂
