Grade 4 students wrote and performed shadow plays.  The plays included concepts from the Science unit, “Light and Shadows,” as well as, co-operating with each other to write their script.  Take a look at the plays below.

Enjoy!

Excellent job, Grade 4 students on your shadow plays! Each group did a terrific job with their shadow puppets and presenting the plays by speaking clear and loud.

You should be very proud as your audience (K-4 students) were impressed with your performances. I was pleased with how well you greeted and thanked your audience for coming. The invitations that each group wrote to invite the classes were well written and neatly done.

I was impressed, when asked by a teacher in the audience to explain how the shadows worked and each group explained with confidence the scientific concept. Each group was able to explain that shadows are made bigger when moved closer to the light and that shadows are made smaller when moved further away from the light. 🙂

Lastly, each group demonstrated excellent teamwork skills by co-operating with one another to write a script and make the shadow puppets.

Fantastic job! I am looking forward to another performance in the near future from our next project! 🙂

Each of you should give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done! Round of applauses Grade 4 students! 🙂
