Great work, Poncho! You understand a story must have a beginning, middle, and an end. You also demonstrated that you understand a paragraph must have a topic sentence, supporting details, and a closing sentence. The introduction of your story was excellent. You included descriptive language such as cozy, echoing, crept, cried, and chubby. Using descriptive language makes your writing more interesting to your readers. Using the leaf blower, having the elves try to pull Santa out, and using the magnet were creative ideas and followed a logical order when you described each one. I am sure Santa was glad that the soap and water idea worked! Keep working on using different transition words, rather than so. You read your story fluently, accurately, and with expression. I am proud of how hard you worked to finish your story before you left for Mexico. Your writing has improved since the beginning of the year. Keep up the great work, Poncho! 🙂
