Great work, Nancy! You understand a story must have a beginning, middle, and an end. You also demonstrated an understanding a paragraph needs a topic sentence, supporting details, and a closing sentence. You also included descriptive adjectives such as snuggled, fluffy, slowly, quietly, creaking, and enormous which makes your writing more interesting. Your ways to get Santa out of the chimney were creative, but I am sure Santa was happy that you managed to pull him out of the chimney. You included some transition words such as then. Keep working on adding more transition words, as this helps keep your paragraph to follow a logical sequence of events. You read your story accurately, fluently, and with expression. I am proud of how your writing has improved since the beginning of the year! Keep up the great work, Nancy! 🙂
