Good work, Anna! You understand a story needs a beginning, middle, and end. You also demonstrated an understanding of topic sentences, supporting details, and closing sentences. Your story followed a logical sequence of events to get Santa out of the chimney and I am Santa was relieved your last idea of using a magnet worked. Santa was smart not to use the chimney against when he left! As we discussed several times, be sure your next writing project has less talking. It is important to show, rather than tell. For example, instead of saying, I asked Santa, “Can I put a magnet on your belt?” Rather say, I placed a humongous magnet onto Santa’s gold belt. You read your story fluently and accurately. Keep working hard, Anna! 🙂
