Good work, Aggie! You understand a story has a beginning, middle, and an end. You also demonstrated an understanding of topic sentences, supporting details, and closing sentences. You included descriptive language and transition words into your writing, which helps make you writing more interesting and organized. You had logical ways to get Santa out of the chimney and I am sure Santa was relieved your last idea of calling the elves to help pull Santa with a special rope worked. We had several discussions about not telling in your story, rather you need to show. For example instead of saying, I told Santa I was going to put a magnet on his golden belt buckle, rather say I placed the humongous magnet onto Santa’s golden belt buckle. You read your story fluently, accurately, and with expression. Keep working hard, Aggie! 🙂
