IF I HAD THE LAST TRUFFALLA SEED.

BY:  PETER

The Oncler gave me the last Truffula seed I put it  in my safety box until I could  find the Lorax.  So I packed a water bottle, three snacks and a lunch.  I looked for the Lorax.  I went out of town and  saw a sign that said, “The Street of the  Lifted Lorax.”  I smelled polluted air, so I plugged my nose and walked and walked.  Suddenly I saw the Once-lers’ house. I asked,”Is anyone  home?”  No one answered.  I looked up and saw wood on a window and also saw two eyes. I replied. “Do you know where the Lorax is?”  “No but I could help you look for him,” responded the Once-ler.  “Okay,” I replied.  I was surprised the Once-ler wanted to help me. We climbed into my dad’s new hot air balloon.  We found a map on the floor.  It was a map of the forest, so we went to the forest and I looked at the map again. I saw a tunnel and we went to the tunnel.  We walked in. I saw the Lorax asleep on a rock.  The Lorax woke up. I told the Lorax I had the last Truffula Seed.  I asked him if he wanted to help me plant the Truffula Tree. “Yes,” he replied.   I went home and grabbed a shovel and dirt and went back to the Lorax. We started planting the Truffula Seed.  One year later it was fully grown.  The lorax was happy but he still felt sad.  “What is the matter?” I asked.   We still have to find all of my friends.   We went to find the Bar-ba-loots, the Swomee-Swans, and the Humming-Fish.  The Humming-Fish were in a puddle beside the factory.  We grabbed them out of the puddle and put them in a jar of water.  The Lorax and I noticed the Once-ler watching from the tree.  The Truffula Trees began to take out the polluted air and the air started to smell fresh again.  The Humming-Fish were in a puddle beside the factory.  We grabbed them out of the puddle and put them in a jar of water.  The Lorax and I noticed the Once-ler watching from the tree.  The Truffula Trees began to take out the polluted air and the air started to smell fresh again.  The Humming-Fish were in a puddle beside the factory.  We grabbed them out of the puddle and put them in a jar of water.  The Lorax and I noticed the Once-ler watching from the tree.  The Truffula Trees began to take out the polluted air and the air started to smell fresh again.  The forest was filled with beautiful Truffula Trees.  We also looked for the Bar-ba-loots.  We found the Bar-ba-loots in the prairies eating dried wheat.  We convinced them to come back to the forest.  We took the Lorax’s Ferrari and off we went to theforest.   We noticed a huge difference.    We went to find the Swomee-Swans.  The Swomee-Swans were on a mountain.  All the Swomee-Swans saw the clean forest.  They flew to the forest and had started to sing again.  The Lorax was so happy he gave me a hug.  Everyone in the forest lived happily ever after.

Good work, Peter! You understand a story has a beginning, middle, and en end. Your story followed a logical series of events ending with a solution to the problem. Your idea of finding a map of the forest in the hot air balloon and finding the Lorax asleep in a tunnel was a creative idea. Great job explaining your search of the where the Humming-Fish, Bar-ba-loots, and Swomee-Swans were located. Keep working on adding more descriptive adjectives to your writing. Nice job, Peter as your writing has certainly improved since the beginning of the year! 🙂
